Shpongletron 2011

Zebbler toured the US with Shpongle (Simon Posford) for 2 years regularly accompanying the DJ sets with custom VJ performances. To raise the bar for Shpongle’s 2011 US tour, Zebbler Studios created the Shpongletron, a three-story projection-mapped stage, complete with custom visual content and realtime sound-reactive elements. The structure features a 3d carved Shpongle-face logo, two pairs of wings, and a laser-shooting eye perched on top. The DJ booth, located in the center of the structure, is flanked by two platforms for dancers and hooping performances.
